Hotel Vis - Dubrovnik

Tastefully decorated rooms with a view, enjoyable stay!

the bus stop was right across the street and you could purchase bus tickets at the front desk.

the internet did not work, the amenities were all extra and at a different hotel, the beachfront was not clean (we were not there in prime season but still a weekend in mid may) the coffe and tea at the breakfast was terrible.

Hotel is nice, bathroom renovated and in good state, had great view from room, breakfast good, old Dubrovnik is 10 min by bus ( bus station is really in front of hotel). I had very nice stay out of season .

Great location, room views, dining and overall service. This was the second time we stayed at hotel Vis and it didn't let us down.

The location in Lapad is perfect for a stay in Dubrovnik. Bus no 4 stops outside the hotel and it's only a 10 minute ride to the old town

Room decor feels tired and outdated!!! The absence of amenities like a fridge and safe is quite disappointing!!! The overall facility could use a serious upgrade to meet expectations.

Easy access to the beach, balcony with a beach view. Breakfast was served on the balcony, right next to the sea.

The room was extremely small, the two beds arranged head to toe, opposing each other, with limited space to move around them. The bathroom had inadequate lightning and non functional basin water tap. Parking was hard to find on the street. Staff wasn't too helpful and had difficulties to communicate in English.

beautiful clear water on own back door staff were friendly. room always cleaned with fresh towels every day.Everything anyone would want for breakfast.even if you were travelling alone i would recommend this hotel . downside had to climb 48 stairs to bedroom but everything cant be perfect we hope to go back next year if we can get vacency

Consider bringing your own beach shoes for comfort on the pebbly beach and check early if sunbeds are available on the terrace.

The location of the hotel was excellent! Just a step to the beach, really convenient. The rooms were clean, staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, a variety of food to choose. Bus stop to the old city is very close to the hotel, you can buy tickets directly at the reception. Wi-fi is available at lobby and reception.

When choosing between the rooms, go for sea view - it worth to pay extra, otherwise garden view is really disappointing.

The sea view is good. The restaurant facing the sea is comfortable & leisure.

hotel staff response to customer query is rather slow.

Had an amazing vacation with friends! We had fun kayaking and Jet-Skiing, both fantastic water activities. The hotel is perfect for a beach getaway. The breakfast was good, and the bus stop nearby made it easy to get around. Definitely recommend for a fun group trip!

One issue we had was when we needed a new blanket at night. The staff was unresponsive and told us to wait until morning, frustrating.

Excellent value for money (under AUD 100 per night) and a good location with easy access to Dubrovnik old town by bus or 45 minute walk. I had a balcony with a sea view..

No swimming pool is a bitof a disappointment in a seaside hotel but you get what you pay for and I didn't pay much so I can't really complain. Overall the hotel feels a little dated and could do with some renovations. Internet connections very bad - there is only one shared computer for guests in reception. The free wi fi didn't work for me at all.
